An diesem Wochenende gibt es einen wahren Marathon an neuen Filmen im Kino.
Hier die besten 3 Filme:
„KINGSMAN 2: The Golden Circle“ – Action, Komödie – GB, USA – 2017
Regie: Matthew Vaughn
Cast: Colin Firth, Julianne Moore, Halle Berry, Channing Tatum, Jeff Bridges, Taron Egerton, Mark Strong

Eine Fortsetzung des beliebten ersten Teils von „Kingsman“. Dieses Mal bekommen sie Unterstützung von Kollegen in den USA, den „Statesman“, die eine ähnliche Organisation in den Vereinigten Staaten gegründet haben. Gemeinsam kämpfen sie gege die Böse „Poppy“ (Julianne Moore), die die Welt beherrschen will. Der Mann von Supermodel Claudia Schiffer (übrigens eröffnet am Wochenende ihr zu Ehren eine Ausstellung in der CWC Gallery in Berlin), Regisseur Matthew Vaughn, hat eine fantasiereiche Geschichte zusammengebastelt, die gut funktioniert und Spass macht. Natürlich muss mal wieder die Welt gerettet werden, um weniger geht’s nicht. Während in den neusten Filmen von James Bond immer mehr auf reine Action gesetzt wird, darf hier noch echter englischer Humor herhalten, so wie wir ihn lieben.

„SCHLOSS AUS GLAS“ – Drama – USA – 2017

Die Verfilmung des gleichnamigen Bestseller Romans von Jeannette Walls ist da eine ganz andere Kategorie. Die Autorin schrieb in ihrem Buch ihre eigene Lebensgeschichte auf, eine Story, wie gemacht fürs Kino: Jeannette wächst in einer Familie auf, deren Vater und Mutter strickt jede Konvention ablehnen und nur nach ihren eigenen Vorstellungen leben wollen. Die Kleinfamilie fährt also wie Vagabunden durch das Land, ohne festen Wohnsitz und ohne Bindungen. Dafür entschädigt der Vater mit wunderbaren Geschichten und warmherzigen Verhalten. Doch als Jeannette älter wird, hält sie dieses unstete Leben nicht mehr aus und flieht eines Nachts Hals über Kopf aus dieser vermeintlichen Idylle. Viele Jahre später, Jeannette ist mittlerweile eine erfolgreiche Kolumnistin bei einer Zeitung in New York, trifft sie durch Zufall wieder auf ihre Familie, als diese gerade in der Großstadt in Mülltonnen nach Essen sucht. Eine schwierige Wiederannäherung beginnt. Großartiges Kino!

„KÖRPER UND SEELE“ – Drama – Ungarn – 2017

Und wieder ein ganz anderer Film. Hier geht es um zwei Menschen, die Bindungsängste haben und deshalb allein und einsam sind. Eines Tages begegnen sich Maria und Endre als Arbeitskollegen. Zunächst deutet nichts auf eine zukünftige Verbindung hin. Doch bei einem von der Firmenleitung angeordneten psychologischen Test stellt sich heraus, dass beide nachts denselben Traum haben: Dass sich zwei Hirsche im Wald begegnen.
Der diesjährige Gewinner des Goldenen Bären auf der Berlinale ist ein würdiger Sieger – selten hat man eine so außergewöhnliche Liebesgeschichte auf der Leinwand gesehen.

This weekend, there is a true marathon of new movies in the cinema, and several of them are very good.

A continuation of the popular first part of the „Kingsman“. This time they receive support from colleagues in the US, the „Statesman“, who have established a similar organization in the United States. Together they fight the evil „Poppy“ (Julianne Moore), who wants to dominate the world. The man of Supermodel Claudia Schiffer (by the way, she opens an exhibition at the CWC Gallery in Berlin on the weekend), Matthew Vaughn, has put together an imaginative story that works well and is fun. Of course, the world has to be saved. While James Bond is increasingly focusing on pure Action in his latest films, there is still genuine English humor in the way we love it.

The filming of the best-seller novel by Jeannette Walls is a completely different category. The author wrote in her book her own life story, a story made for the cinema: Jeannette is growing up in a family whose father and mother knit every convention and only want to live according to their own ideas. The small family travels like a vagrant through the country, without a permanent residence and without bonds. The father compensates for his children with wonderful stories and warm-hearted behavior. But as Jeannette gets older, she does not want anymore this unsteady life and fleees one night. Many years later, Jeannette has now become a successful columnist on a newspaper in New York, she unexpectedly meets her family, as they are looking for food in the metropolitan city. A difficult re-approach begins. Great cinema!

And again a completely different film. This is about two people who fear any ties and are therefore alone and lonely. One day Maria and Endre meet as working colleagues. This year’s winner of the Golden Bear at the Berlinale is a worthy winner – seldom has one seen such an extraordinary love story on the screen.
