Gastspiel Béjart Ballett
Der 2007 verstorbene Choreograph Maurice Béjart war einer der großen Ballett-Künstler des 20. Jahrhunderts. Seine heute in Lausanne beheimatete Tanzkompanie gibt Ende diesen Monats ein außergewöhnliches Gastspiel in der Deutschen Oper Berlin. Vom 21. – 26. Juli 2015. Beginn jeweils um 20.00 Uhr, am Sonntag um 18.00 Uhr.

Seit über 25 Jahren begeistert das Béjart Ballet Lausanne Tanzliebhaber weltweit. Das Ensemble des 2007 verstorbenen Maurice Béjart, einer der großen Choreografen des 20. Jahrhunderts, sorgt mit über 120 Vorstellungen pro Jahr weltweit für Jubelstürme – gleich ob im La Fenice von Venedig, in der Royal Albert Hall in London, am Moskauer Bolschoi Theater oder dem Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires. Im Sommer 2015 beehren die 41 Tänzer der Compagnie, die heute unter der Künstlerischen Leitung Gil Romans steht, die Deutsche Oper Berlin mit Béjarts „Ballet for Life“, einem Meisterwerk des großen Balletterneuerers.
„Ballet for Life“ ist eines der faszinierendsten Werke Maurice Béjarts. Wie es nur einem Ballettzauberer seines Genies gelingen kann, vereinte er darin drei Namen voller Magie: Queen, Mozart und Versace. Queen-Songs und Auszüge aus Werken Mozarts fügen sich mit exquisiten Kostümen von Gianni Versace zu einer sehr persönlichen Choreografie voller Leidenschaft und Witz. Seit über einem Jahrzehnt reißt dieses bisher über 350 Mal aufgeführte Erfolgsstück weltweit ein internationales Publikum zu Ovationen hin.

James Blunt (* 22. Februar 1974 in Tidworth, Wiltshire; geboren als James Hillier Blount) ist ein britischer Singer-Songwriter. Im Jahr 2005 wurde er insbesondere durch seinen Nummer 1-Hit You’re Beautiful bekannt. Zudem war Blunt der erste britische Künstler nach neun Jahren, der es schaffte, an die Spitze der Billboard Charts zu springen. Damit beerbte er Elton John, dem dies mit Candle in the Wind 1997 gelungen war. Blunt lebt auf Ibiza.

Liam Gallagher
William John Paul „Liam“ Gallagher (born 21 September 1972) is an English singer and songwriter. He rose to fame as the lead singer of the rock band Oasis, and later served as the singer of Beady Eye before performing as a solo artist after the dissolution of both bands.[1][2] His erratic behaviour, distinctive singing style, and abrasive attitude have been the subject of commentary in the press; he remains one of the most recognisable figures in modern British music.
Although his older brother Noel wrote the majority of Oasis‘ songs, Liam penned the singles „Songbird“ and „I’m Outta Time“, along with a string of album tracks and B-sides. Noel departed Oasis in 2009 and formed Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, while Liam continued with the other former members of Oasis under the Beady Eye name until they disbanded in 2014. His debut solo album As You Were was released 6 October 2017.
Hollywood Vampires – Johnny Depp – Alice Cooper

Hollywood Vampires is an American rock supergroup formed in 2015 by Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp and Joe Perry to honor the music of the rock stars who died from excess in the 1970s. The band name derives from The Hollywood Vampires, a celebrity drinking club formed by Cooper in the 1970s which included but was not limited to: John Lennon and Ringo Starr of The Beatles, Keith Moon of The Who, and Micky Dolenz of The Monkees. Touring members include or have included Duff McKagan and Matt Sorum of Guns ‚N Roses fame, as well as Robert DeLeo from Stone Temple Pilots.
The band has released one studio album, Hollywood Vampires (2015), featuring guest appearances by Paul McCartney, Dave Grohl, Joe Walsh, and Christopher Lee among others. Cooper and Perry have discussed plans for a future live album, stating that Depp’s schedule works differently than theirs. (Wikipedia)
