Zum 25. Jahrestag des Mauerfalls der Berliner Mauer, die 28 Jahre Berlin und die gesamte Bundesrepublik in West und Ost trennte, wird in Berlin entlang der alten Mauer leuchtende Ballons installiert,
die Tag und Nacht zeigen, wo sie einstmals gestanden hat.
Am Sonntag, den 9. November 2014 um 19.00 Uhr wird der Festakt zu den Feierlichkeiten am Brandenburger Tor begangen,
bei der die Staatskapelle Berlin unter der Leitung von Daniel Barenboim den letzten Satz der 9. Sinfonie von Beethoven spielen wird.
Die Ballons werden vom 7. November an installiert und bleiben 3 Tage stehen. Am Sonntag zwischen 19. und 20. Uhr werden die heliumgefüllten Ballons dann in den Himmel steigen.

Deep Purple kündigen „inFinite – The Long Goodbye Tour“ an!

„inFinte“ heißen das neue Deep-Purple-Album (VÖ: Frühjahr 2017) und die dazugehörige Konzertreise. Diese trägt noch den Zusatz „The Long Goodbye Tour“. Acht Stopps im Mai/Juni sind für Deutschland bestätigt. Sie bieten die Möglichkeit, jene Ikone noch einmal live zu erleben, die im April 2016 in die „Rock and Roll Hall of Fame“ aufgenommen worden ist.

Hollywood Vampires is an American rock supergroup formed in 2015 by Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp and Joe Perry to honor the music of the rock stars who died from excess in the 1970s. The band name derives from The Hollywood Vampires, a celebrity drinking club formed by Cooper in the 1970s which included but was not limited to: John Lennon and Ringo Starr of The Beatles, Keith Moon of The Who, and Micky Dolenz of The Monkees. Touring members include or have included Duff McKagan and Matt Sorum of Guns ‚N Roses fame, as well as Robert DeLeo from Stone Temple Pilots.
The band has released one studio album, Hollywood Vampires (2015), featuring guest appearances by Paul McCartney, Dave Grohl, Joe Walsh, and Christopher Lee among others. Cooper and Perry have discussed plans for a future live album, stating that Depp’s schedule works differently than theirs. (Wikipedia)
