Premiere Staatsballett „Maillot – Millepied“

PREMIERE „MAILLOT | MILLEPIED“
Am 22. Januar 2017 präsentiert das Staatsballett Berlin den französischen Doppelabend „Maillot | Millepied“ mit den Werken „Altro Canto“ von Jean-Christophe Maillot sowie „Daphnis et Chloé“ von Benjamin Millepied. Musik von Claudio Monteverdi und Maurice Ravel begleitet die Choreographien in Kostümen von Karl Lagerfeld und einem Bühnenbild von Daniel Buren. Zur Premiere tanzen Elisa Carrillo Cabrera und Mikhail Kaniskin sowie Elena Pris in den Hauptrollen. Bis zum 17. März 2017 sind insgesamt sechs Vorstellungen auf der Bühne der Deutschen Oper Berlin zu sehen. Einen Tag vor der Premiere – am 21. Januar 2017 um 18.00 Uhr – sprechen die Choreographen Jean-Christophe Maillot und Benjamin Millepied im Institut Français mit Dr. Christiane Theobald, Stellvertretende Intendantin des Staatsballetts Berlin sowie Jean-Marc Diebold, Leiter des Büros für Theater und Tanz des Institut Français, über ihre Arbeit.

Hollywood Vampires – Johnny Depp – Alice Cooper

Hollywood Vampires is an American rock supergroup formed in 2015 by Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp and Joe Perry to honor the music of the rock stars who died from excess in the 1970s. The band name derives from The Hollywood Vampires, a celebrity drinking club formed by Cooper in the 1970s which included but was not limited to: John Lennon and Ringo Starr of The Beatles, Keith Moon of The Who, and Micky Dolenz of The Monkees. Touring members include or have included Duff McKagan and Matt Sorum of Guns ‚N Roses fame, as well as Robert DeLeo from Stone Temple Pilots.
The band has released one studio album, Hollywood Vampires (2015), featuring guest appearances by Paul McCartney, Dave Grohl, Joe Walsh, and Christopher Lee among others. Cooper and Perry have discussed plans for a future live album, stating that Depp’s schedule works differently than theirs. (Wikipedia)
