100 JAHRE BAUHAUS

100 YEARS BUILDING HOUSE
Throughout the year, the most famous style of modernity is thought of in different places: the BAUHAUS. It was founded in 1919 in Weimar and continued a short time later in Dessau until it came to an abrupt end in Berlin in 1933. But his style of design and architecture spread throughout the world after World War II. In the House of World Cultures (Berlin-Tiergarten) there is currently the exhibition „BAUHAUS IMAGINISTA“.
PICASSO at the Museum Barberini in Potsdam
Since 09.03.2019 the museum shows „PICASSO – THE LATE WORKS“. The house, reopened in 2017 in the center of Potsdam, has been showing a number of Picasso’s works since March, painted in his last 20 years. Most of the works are from the collection of Jacqueline Picasso, the master’s last wife, whom he immortalized on canvas as often as any of her predecessors. Her daughter, Catherine Hutin, provided the works for the Museum Barberini. Museum Barberini, Humboldtstraße 5-6 14467 Potsdam Wed – Mon 10 am – 7 pm, Tue closed
